Advertising balloons are the most visible, attractive, and clear form of day and night advertising of both companies and products. They constitute company signposts and showcase. They can be installed both outdoors (patios, roofs, squares, building walls) and indoors (in exhibition halls, for example). Special attachment points make it possible to attach advertisements to the balloon surface as well as to the balloon tether lines. Since the balloon can be filled easily and quite quickly, it is possible to frequently change the site of exposition, and the way the advertisements are attached allows for simple change of their contents.
BSR series stationary advertising balloons (rooftoppers) have the form of an inverted pear and are manufactured in sizes from 1.5 m up to 12 m high. BSR-1,5 and BSR-2,5 balloons can be specially adapted for attaching at stands and in exhibition halls. A balloon of non-standard shapes, sizes and colours can be manufactured at special requests.
The balloon envelope is made of high-strength, low-weight fabric in varying colours. This allows to reduce the weight of the entire balloon, to facilitate its setting and transportation. The envelope can be made of light-transparent fabric, allowing to use internal lighting. At customers request the envelope can be made of material with improved resistance to ultra-violet radiation.
Wide range of colours on the fabric in use makes it possible to manufacture the balloon exactly in the colours requested by the customer (for example in the company or product colours). What is more, the balloon envelope or attachable banner can carry an advertisement in from of a slogan, logo or graphics. The non-changeable element of the advertisement (for example the company name and logo) is applied directly onto the balloon surface, while the attachable part can carry the changeable portion (for example the product advertising slogan, stand number at a fair, etc.). Moreover, smaller sized advertisements (for example company flags) can be attached to the tether lines. The advertisement is applied by sewing on, thus increasing its useful life and resistance to fading.
Balloons are filled with air continuously by means of an electrically-powered blower. Depending on the size of the balloon the energy consumption ranges from 0.04 to 0.5 kW.
The balloon is tethered by means of loops around the base and a system of tether lines. Depending on the type of the ground the lines are attached by means of pickets, spring-pegs, or weights.
Basic balloon kit includes: envelope, blower with 20 m supply duct, line set, ground anchoring elements and an advertisement on the surface or attachable banner.
The balloon can be optionally equipped with internal lighting to provide the requested glow around the balloon and thus increase the attractiveness of the exhibit.
Balloons can be used throughout the year, but in such case an increased wear has to be taken into account. Depending on the site of location and the size, balloons should be folded down or specially secured when wind in excess of 20 m/s is forecast for balloons up to 6 m high, 11 m/s for those up to 9 m and 8 m/s for those up to 12 m. Snow load on a balloon cannot exceed 10 kg/m2.
